Our grass finished livestock are never given growth hormones, antibiotics or other drugs. Sick animals are treated when necessary, but they aren't sold as part of our grass finished program. Every year we go through a 3rd party audit to verify that our livestock are born and raised exactly the way we say they are.
Simply put, grass-finished beef and lamb comes from livestock that ate nothing but grass and forage for their entire lives. Grass-fed, on the other hand, may be used to label meat from livestock that were started on a grass diet but have either received supplemental grain feed or are finished on a fully grain-based diet. Grass Finished = Grace Finished!
